Look at the Crazy List of Things Illegal Immigrants Get for ‘FREE’ in Liberal Massachusetts

By Mike LaChance
Mar. 25, 2024 9:40 pm

Liberal Massachusetts is overrun with illegal border crossers and there’s really no wonder why when you see the laundry list of things that are provided for ‘free’ courtesy of taxpayers in the Bay State.

All of these perks just act as incentives, driving more illegals into the state.

And remember, there are American citizens in Massachusetts who are poor and don’t get nearly as much from the state.

Longtime Boston talk host Howie Carr posted this list on his website:

As Central Banks Stockpile Gold, a Christian Company Works To Help Americans Get Ahead of the “Retirement Bubble”

FREEBIES FOR ILLEGALS: A Comprehensive List

GENERAL WELFARE COSTS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS:

Free hotel rooms at $150+ a day.

Three meals a day at $64 per person per diem.

Free on-site medical & dental services (including condoms).

Special diet for Ramadan.

Free same-day dry cleaning w/free pick up & delivery.

Free housekeeping twice a week.

Free cell phones, chargers/charging ports.

Free tablets, IPads.

Free clothing, new & used.

Everyone got new free winter coat, gloves and shoes.

Free toiletries (tooth paste, deodorant, special “ethnic” shampoos, skin cream, aspirin, tooth brushes, feminine products).

“FOR THE CHILDREN”:

Free diapers, wipes, diaper pails, cribs, bassinets, playpens, baby bottles, baby formulas, free car seats, free new mother bags, playrooms for young illegals w/free toys & books which must be replaced often because of destruction.

That is only about half of the list, if you can believe it.

And what has this led to? The state is running out of cash for shelters. Off the Press reports:

Massachusetts is spending about $75 million each month on state-run shelters, a massive jump in expenses that comes as Gov. Maura Healey’s administration is expected to run out of cash for emergency services in early to mid-April without another financial infusion.

Beacon Hill lawmakers have spent most of the new year putting together a plan to pay soaring shelter bills just as state revenues have consistently come in below expectations, Washington has offered no help, and demand on services continues to persist at historic levels.

With cash likely running out ahead of an April time window, the Legislature is now locked in negotiations over a new spending plan that could allow Healey to access dollars at a critical moment. Top budget writers say they are confident they can find a compromise before time runs out.

House Ways and Means Chair Aaron Michlewitz said he understands the need to produce a deal on a spending bill “as quickly as possible.”

What happens when the money runs out?

First San Francisco... now New York City...

New York City natives are FLEEING due to illegal immigration and surging crime

03/18/2024
Ava Grace

New Yorkers are reportedly leaving the Big Apple in massive numbers as the surge in illegal immigrants continues to strain city resources, according to new data.

In 2023, New York City lost 78,000 residents, lowering its total population to 8.26 million, down from a record 8.8 million reported in early 2020, according to recent census data acquired by the New York Times (NYT). The estimate is on top of the more than 126,000 residents the city lost in 2022. (Related: Illegal immigrants in New York City are leaving their shelters to go door-to-door begging for money and food.)

The exodus from New York can be attributed to the accumulated years of poor policymaking by its elected officials, according to E.J. Antoni, a research fellow in The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis.

"New York City is a victim of terrible decisions by its leadership, and what we are seeing is that the people who live there are now understanding that," Antoni said. "In fact, it is difficult to find a public policy implemented by that state or city that can be pointed to as an example of doing it right. The streets are full of potholes, crime is out of control, and the overall quality of life has gotten to the point where a lot of people are looking around and saying, 'Heck with this, I'm leaving.'"

In total, the NYT report estimated that from April 2020 to July 2023, the city lost more than six percent of its population, or almost 550,000 residents. Officials had previously estimated that the city would reach a population of nine million residents within two decades. This projection now needs to be revised.

City officials have also pushed backed on the NYT's numbers, claiming that the new census estimates did not fully account for the growing number of illegal immigrants – who are counted as residents in population estimates. The burgeoning migrant population in the city would have resulted in a significantly smaller decrease in population than is being reported.

According to the Department of City Planning, the estimated population decrease needs to account for the over 180,000 illegal immigrants who have arrived in the city since the spring of 2022. This does not include the approximately 64,600 migrants housed in city housing centers.

New wave of illegals driving out native New Yorkers

Antoni notes that in The Heritage Foundation's investigation, this new wave of migrants who have been surging into the city illegally have been one of the primary factors driving out native New Yorkers from their own city.

Antoni notes that many native residents aren't just leaving the city – they're leaving the state and primarily traveling south. The main factors, along with the influx of migrants, include higher crime rates, soaring cost of living and the decreasing standard of living – all of which are made worse by the increasing amount of resources being delegated to care for the growing migrant population.

Authorities have blamed some of the surging crime and violence on growing numbers of so-called "asylum seekers" coming to New York City with undeclared affiliations to Latin American street gangs, some of which are known for drug smuggling, human trafficking and murder.

"What goes on in Third World countries is happening on the streets of New York – every day, any borough, with no consequences," said Vickie Paladino (R-Whitestone, Queens) of the New York City Council.

Paladino, one of the handful of Republicans on the 51-member council, specifically cited Venezuelan migrants with affiliation with the notorious Tren de Aragua gang as a growing concern for New Yorkers. Tren de Aragua has been expanding its criminal connections in the U.S. and is also known for its collaboration with the notorious El Salvadorean gang MS-13.

"Tren de Aragua engages in extortion, kidnapping, robbery, homicide for hire — these guys are hit men — drug and human trafficking, smuggling, all kinds of different things," Gregg Etter, a criminologist at the University of Central Missouri who studies the Ve

CENSUS DATA: Americans Still Fleeing Blue States in Droves, Moving to Texas and Florida

By Ben Kew
Mar. 16, 2024 7:30 am

Americans are still fleeing Democratic run states in their droves and moving to more conservative parts of the country, the latest census data shows.

Over the year 2022 to 2023, Los Angeles County in California, Cooky County in Illinois and Kings County in New York all experienced population declines of 119,000, 58,000 and 55,000 respectively.

Miami-Dade County in Florida came fifth in the list, potentially because of the high prices caused by Florida’s skyrocketing popularity.

The main beneficiaries of domestic migration were Polk County in Florida, Montgomery County in Texas and Pasco County in Florida with gains of 26,000, 25,000 and 24,000 respectively.

Also near the top were Pinal County, Arizona and Horry County in South Carolina. No locations within Democratic states were listed in the top ten.

Although people’s recognition of the failings of lawless states such as California and New York is undoubtedly a good thing, many Democratic voters also bring their politics with them.

Once a solidly red state that even held out against Barack Obama’s landslide 2008 election victory, left-wing Californians migrating to Arizona have helped hand the state’s highest elected positions to Democrats, albeit aided by the widespread prevalence of election fraud.

“Domestic migration patterns are changing, and the impact on counties is especially evident,” said Lauren Bowers, chief of the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Branch.

“Areas which experienced high levels of domestic out-migration during the pandemic, such as in the Midwest and Northeast, are now seeing more counties with population growth. Meanwhile, county population growth is slowing down out west, such as in Arizona and Idaho.”

However, the census report notes that as levels of legal and illegal immigration continue to rise, the majority of U.S. counties saw positive net international migration.

“Eighty percent (2,515) of U.S. counties had positive net international migration in 2023. Miami-Dade County, Florida (54,457), and Harris County, Texas (41,665), had the largest gains from net international migration,” the report noted.

“All counties in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Rhode Island experienced positive net international migration.”

He feels safer in New York City with his body guards... (* CHUCKLE *)

NYC Mayor Eric Adams Cancels Trip to Southern Border, Claims It Is Too Unsafe

By Ben Kew
Mar. 23, 2024 8:22 pm

New York City Eric Adams has canceled his trip to the southern border on the grounds it is not safe enough for him to visit.

Adams, whose city is at breaking point under the pressure of tens of thousands of illegal aliens expecting hospitality, had been invited to the visit area of Sister Norma Pimentel, executive director of the Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley in San Juan.

According to The New York Post, mayoral spokeswoman Amaris Cockfield confirmed the cancelation in a statement Saturday:

As Lent draws to a close, our team was excited to stand with faith and humanitarian leaders who have dedicated their lives to serving the most needy among us, and we were eager to discuss our work in New York City and explore new ways to collaborate with leaders in cities across the country.

But due to safety concerns at one of the cities we were going to visit in Mexico flagged by the U.S. Department of State, we have decided to pause this visit at this time.

The trip would have been Adams’s second visit to the border. Last October, he visited the Mexican city of Puebla, where he delivered a confusing message of both “Mi casa es su casa” while also stating that New York was unable to take in any more migrants.

As Central Banks Stockpile Gold, a Christian Company Works To Help Americans Get Ahead of the “Retirement Bubble”

“We are neighbors. We are familia. Mi casa es su casa. Your struggles are my struggles,” Adams said. “There is no more room in New York. Our hearts are endless, but our resources are not. “We don’t want to put people in congregate shelters. We don’t want people to think they will be employed.”

Despite constantly complaining about the constant flow of people arriving in New York, Adams has yet to demand that Joe Biden fully secure the border and end the migrant invasion. Instead, he has sought to persuade other parts of the country to take shoulder the burden instead.

Over 10 million migrants have entered the U.S. illegally since Joe Biden seized office in 2021, more people than the population of 36 states. As thousands arrive on a daily basis, that figure is increasing every day and may well be an underestimation of the real numbers.

Due to Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s refusal to see his state foot the bill for Biden’s open border policies, many are transported to so-called “sanctuary cities” such as New York, Chicago and Denver where they have their food, accommodation and healthcare paid for by the local taxpayers.

Why would a NYC mayor visit the border? It doesn’t even make sense. It’s not his state.

Democrats Vote Against Bill That Would Stop Biden Admin From Flying Illegals to American Communities

Sarah Arnold
March 24, 2024 12:30 PM

Every single Senate Democrat voted against a bill that would have stopped the Biden Administration from chartering more than 32,000 illegal immigrants from their countries to various American communities.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) called out Democrats on Friday night after they opposed legislation that would protect American tax dollars from being spent on flights for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to be flown to cities across the country.

“Make no mistake here. President Biden has secretly been flying hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens in foreign countries into blue-city airports,” Hagerty said from the Senate floor. “Just last year alone, in 2023, it was reported that some 320,000 illegal aliens have been flown in using this method.”

The Republican stressed the grave danger the United States faces under Biden’s irresponsible and reckless open-borer policies. Hagerty made it clear that the U.S. is under an immense national security crisis emanating from the southern border.

Hagerty also warned about the implications of illegal aliens living in American communities would have on Congressional seats and electoral college votes.

“Illegal aliens are counted when determining Americans’ representation in government, and the worth of their votes. The more illegal aliens and non-citizens in your state or district, the greater your voting power in Congress and presidential elections,” Hagerty said in a statement. “This means that in a state like California—or a city like New York—millions of illegal aliens result in several more Congressional seats and Electoral College votes for that jurisdiction.”

He claimed that this explains why every single Democrat who voted on his amendment opposed it, adding that the left is “weaponizing the census.”

Hagerty accused Democrats of being desperate to preserve their political power and making it easier for blue states to “backfill their declining populations” by delivering illegal immigrants to their towns.

California's economic woes are way worse than we thought

Taxes, regulations combine to slam fiscal health

By Around the Web
Published March 28, 2024 at 10:32am

California’s economy has been increasingly struggling over the past several years as regulations, high taxes and poor governance have dampened business opportunities and sent citizens running, according to experts who spoke to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The unemployment rate in California jumped to 5.3% in February, the highest out of any state and Washington, D.C., according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. California employs some of the strictest labor laws, regulatory regimes and tax burdens in the nation, which has increasingly stifled economic growth and led businesses and citizens to flee, experts explained.

“You can look at the unemployment numbers, and those really flag some severe underlying problems,” Will Swaim, president of the California Policy Center, told the DCNF. “California overregulates businesses and underregulates public safety. And those two things may seem unrelated, but when you allow people to engage in organized theft from stores or break into cars, for instance, it reduces the ability of markets to function.”

Retail theft, such as shoplifting, has exploded over the past few years, mostly in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, according to The Associated Press. Criminals are incentivized through relaxed crime policies like Proposition 47, which was passed in 2014 and reduced certain theft and drug offenses from felonies to misdemeanors.

The state’s economy has only increased the number of jobs in the state by 82,000 in the last year as of February, with 61,100 of those being government positions, according to the California Employment Development Department. California’s struggling employment market puts it last in terms of job growth over the last year out of all other states and D.C., according to the Orange County Register.

“California job growth is struggling because of the state’s regulatory and tax policy,” Wayne Winegarden, senior fellow in business and economics at the Pacific Research Institute, told the DCNF. “The burdensome regulations on businesses discourage the formation of new businesses, which has been growing slower than the national economy. New businesses typically drive job growth, so fewer businesses forming is bad for job growth. Compounding these difficulties, burdensome labor regulations discourage those businesses that do exist from expanding hiring. The combination of the two reinforce one another, creating a difficult job growth environment.”

The state also has one of the highest tax burdens in the U.S., ranking fifth in 2020 with an effective average tax rate of around 13.5%, according to the Tax Foundation. California was only outdone by other blue states like Connecticut, New York and Hawaii.

“Policies such as expensive energy mandates, restrictive zoning regulations, high taxes, rent control, and high minimum wages all increase the cost of doing business and decrease families’ purchasing power,” Winegarden told the DCNF. “The higher cost of doing business makes California firms less competitive nationally, which harms economic growth. The affordability problems make it harder for families to thrive, encourage families to leave the state, and discourage new families from migrating to California. All of these trends reinforce one another, harming the state’s vitality.”

The state government is also struggling with a massive deficit, which California’s nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office estimates would be a record $73 billion in 2024 under current fiscal circumstances. The huge deficit is in part due to a drop in income as people flee the state, with 27,000 tax filers with adjusted gross incomes of over $200,000 having moved out between 2020 and 2021.

The population of California declined by around 538,000 from July 2020 to July 2023 as residents flee blue states like New York and Illinois and head to places like Texas and Florida.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom boasted of a $97.5 billion surplus in May 2022, which the governor then pledged to spend on drought mitigation efforts, abortion initiatives and to address costs from inflation, despite the current surging deficit.

California has also spent around $30 billion on homelessness alone under Newsom since 2019, despite the number of homeless people continuing to rise year-over-

Now this is a new and funny twist...

DNC Activist Warns Democrats to Stop Registering Young Voters, “They’re Gonna Vote for Trump”

April 1, 2024
Sundance

This is a little funny.  The Washington Post has an article about Democrat data scientist Aaron Strauss, who helps direct progressive spending at the firm OpenLabs, warning his peers that registering young people to vote, young people of color specifically, is helping Donald Trump.

The data shows that when Democrats help register young voters, they end up registering people who will vote for Trump.  Now they are considering not even holding voter registration drives in target markets because they align with Trump.

WAPO – […] A confidential memo circulated among top Democratic donors has sparked a furious debate in Democratic circles about whether to narrow the focus of voter registration efforts to avoid signing up likely Republicans.

For decades, nonpartisan groups allied with the Democratic Party have run wide-ranging efforts aimed at increasing voter registration among people of color and young people — groups that tend to lean Democratic but have historically voted at lower rates than older and White people.

In recent years, however, there has been a marked shift among the roughly one in five citizens of voting age who are unregistered toward Republicans, raising fresh questions about how much boosting nonpartisan voter registration could help presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump heading into November.

Aaron Strauss, an influential data scientist who helps direct progressive spending at the firm OpenLabs, sparked private disagreements over this issue in January when he sent about a dozen major Democratic donors a confidential memo that challenged traditional nonpartisan registration.

[…] Polls in recent months have regularly shown Biden polling below 2020 levels among Black and Latino voters. A recent Quinnipiac University poll found Biden pulling support from 60 percent of Black voters and 34 percent of Hispanic voters in a five way race with Trump and three third-party candidates. Exit polls in 2020 showed Biden winning 87 percent of the Black voter and 65 percent of the Latino vote.
